Welcome to AP Biology!!
Things to Do By Friday, June 10th


1. Make sure you fill out the AP Bio Questionnaire this week so I have your contact information for the summer.

2. In order to qualify to be in AP Bio you MUST meet the following requirements:
•Completion or concurrent enrollment in Physics or AP Physics
•B- or higher in Chemistry
•A- or higher in Chem-Com

3. Bring me $370 by Friday, June 10th, if you want to go to Catalina Island. This is a non-refundable deposit and the trip is first come, first served. The trip will begin on Friday, Sept 16th and ends on Sunday, Sept 18th.

4. Get your materials from the textbook office before school gets out (the textbook office will be closed for the month of July):
•Textbook

•Student Study Guide

•CDROM (Check it out in your computer to make sure it works!)

1. Do the summer assignment.

2. Get the AP Biology Cliffs Note Book.
• You are required to show this to me on the first day of class.
• Having the book the first day of class is worth an "A" as your first homework assignment!
•AP Biology students claim that this is one of the most valuable resources in the class. I highly recommend buying it now!
