Please read it, and answer the following three questions (Be sure to include something you learned from the article in each of your answers). Do this on a separate sheet of paper from your free response.

1. Based on the article and the lecture I gave, how is type 1 diabetes different from type 2 diabetes?

2. What are the long-term nasty health implications for people with type 2 diabetes?

3. If you were a type 2 diabetic what could you do to ameliorate the possible negative implications of having type 2 diabetes?
